ILALI

Innovative Learning and Living Institute

ILALI is a nonprofit organization and social ecosystem of changemakers dedicated to fostering regenerative and equitable futures. At Landwell, ILALI shapes the community’s ethos and initiatives through its integrative methodology and diverse programs.

ILALI connects and transforms communities and organizations via place-based initiatives, consulting services, curated convenings, and immersive learning programs. It supports communities in navigating the regenerative continuum of dissolution, resilience, and transformation.

Utilizing its Wayfinding Praxis methodology, ILALI collaborates with NGOs, universities, government agencies, foundations, and corporations.

Wayfinding Initiative

WAYFINDERS is a cost-free, immersive residency designed for young adults within the same region to come together, live, learn, work, and build community. The program unfolds in beautiful natural settings, providing diverse cohorts with opportunities to develop skills for creating regenerative futures.

Led by a transdisciplinary team of ILALI instructors and Landwell residential program partners, Wayfinders prioritizes practical, integrative learning. Rooted in fostering physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being, the program also offers opportunities for service and land stewardship. This holistic journey covers a wide array of subjects, from regenerative living practices to financial literacy, communication skills, technology and AI, wisdom traditions, and conflict resolution techniques.

In 2023, the post-pilot program yielded significant positive outcomes, including enhanced physical and mental health, improved ability to handle conflicts, better relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose. Participants initiated new jobs and businesses, pursued graduate studies, and sustained community-building activities, as well as equity and land stewardship efforts.
